Ricoh LATAM Announces New RICOH Pro C5400 Series, Faster, More Accurate and Sustainable Color Production Printers

New RICOH Pro C5400 Series to Help Customers Drive Revenue Growth and Business Opportunities

Weston, July 15th, 2025 – Ricoh LATAM today announced the launch of the new RICOH Pro C5400 series of colour production printers. This new generation combines increased operating and production speed with optimized usability, designed to meet the diverse needs of business and business operations.

Building on the high output speed and excellent paper handling of its predecessors – the RICOH Pro™ C5310S, C5300S and Pro C5300SL – the new Pro C5400 series offers significant improvements in its core performance.

Designed for commercial printing applications, this high-quality production printer offers greater image registration accuracy, thanks to greater stability in the paper feed and more precise image adjustment functions.

The series is compatible with a wide variety of substrates, including coated paper, waterproof paper, envelopes, clear plastic folders, and long sheets up to 1,300 mm. This flexibility allows customers to meet a wide variety of needs in the production of promotional materials, with greater ease of use and operational efficiency, also contributing to the growth of their revenues.

Key improvements include:

  • Drastically reduced warm-up time: from 120 seconds to just 26 seconds¹ on the Pro C5410S and 30 seconds¹ on the Pro C5400S.
  • Improved scanning speed: duplex scanning of up to 300 pages per minute, with AI-powered orientation detection and continuous scanning of small documents such as business cards.
  • More intuitive touch interface, significantly improving usability.
  • New paper configuration interface, ensuring consistent print quality.
  • Finisher with staple-free binding, an industry-first feature*² that uses water to moisten and press the paper: up to 16 sheets in corner binding and 12 in double binding.
  • Envelope merge option, enabling faster printing and higher productivity.
  • More compact folding unit, only 209 mm wide (less than half the width of the previous model).
  • Improved paper transport stability and image registration accuracy in duplex printing and long sheets, thanks to a redesigned vacuum feed tray.
  • More accurate image alignment with trapezoidal and right-angle correction functions.
  • Simplified adjustment of transfer conditions, reducing pre-print preparation time.

In addition, this series has increased the use of recycled materials by more than five times compared to its predecessor, which contributes to customers' environmental initiatives.

“The new Pro C5400 series offers increased production capacity and versatility, designed to help commercial and business operations expand their capabilities," said Angel Bustamante, Vice President of Graphic Communications Group at Ricoh LATAM. "Print environments must respond consistently and flexibly to a growing demand for short-run applications. Comprehensive enhancements are focused on delivering consistent, high-level print quality on a variety of substrates, enabling businesses to achieve reliable results, time and time again.”

The RICOH Pro™ C5400 series will be commercially available in Latin America from July 2025.
