Ricoh's President and CEO to participate in Reuters IMPACT 2022 global event

Jake Yamashita will be the keynote speaker at an event focused on how to mobilize businesses around the world to act on climate change.

Weston on September 21, 2022 - Ricoh Company, Ltd. today announced that its President and CEO, Jake Yamashita, will deliver a keynote address entitled "Empowering employees to be ESG Advocate" at the Reuters IMPACT 2022 event to be held on October 3-4 in London, England).

This event will be broadcast live and Mr. Yamashita will discuss the actions Ricoh is taking around the world to act against climate change through the business to realize the vision of "Realization through Work," and upholding the spirit of the Three Loves (Love Your Neighbor, Love Your Country, Love Your Work), the company's founding principles. He will also share his vision for engaging and inspiring employees globally and how this is key to driving the ESG (environmental, social and governance) agenda and objectives, as well as supporting customers to join the organization's vision.

The event was organized by global news and information provider, Reuters, and brings together world leaders, senior management of major companies and forward-thinking pioneers to inspire, galvanize action and accelerate innovation towards the greatest challenge of our generation: the climate emergency. The Reuters IMPACT agenda is based on six core themes: Energy, Finance, Agriculture and Biodiversity, Environment, Supply Chains and Transportation, and Society and Justice. Ricoh was invited to participate in this event primarily because of its achievements and long history of addressing environmental challenges.
